The TBM 940 is the brainchild of French aircraft manufacturer Daher. This aircraft was equipped with an autothrottle and an upgraded automatic system with an anti-icing function. The liner has a modified interior design. The autothrottle, which was first installed on such a business jet, is capable of adjusting the speed according to a predetermined flight configuration. The aircraft owner can safely use the turboprop at the maximum thrust conditions for the PT6A-66D engine manufactured by the Canadian company Pratt and Whitney.
