The Eclipse 500 is a 6-seat light jet aircraft. Manufacturer — Eclipse Aviation. Test flight with Pratt and Whitney engines performed in 2004. The plans for commercial production were quite ambitious — 4 planes every day. However, by the end of 2006, only 1 aircraft had been delivered. In 2008, production ceased due to insufficient funding. The company went bankrupt. The owners set up EAI with the aim of technical escort of already delivered Eclipse 500 aircraft.
