The Gulfstream II (G-II) is a twin-engine business jet. The first Gulfstream II took off on October 2, 1966. The first machines were delivered to the flight departments of National Distillers & Chemical, Coca-Cola, Dow Jones, Noche Oil and Pulitzer Publishing. In May 1968, the National Distiller N100P (serial no.005) became the first corporate jet to cross the Atlantic without landing in either direction.
